Charter Application Has Been Submitted to PSD, Aug 15

We submitted 16 copies of the final charter application yesterday, Aug 15, to the Poudre School District. We are delighted with the final product and with the support from all of you who expressed submitted Intent to Enroll Forms and Letters of Support. You may continue to submit these important documents , and we will deliver them to the District at our upcoming meetings.

We are also grateful and wish to express thanks to those who pounded the pavement to reach out to parents and local community members regarding the acquisition of the Intent to Enroll forms. That was a well done and HUGE task! Thank you! In the end we submitted 230 Intent to Enroll Forms with our application (we needed 216)!

Over the next several weeks PSD will review our application and prepare comments for the PSD School Board of Education. On Oct 8 and 22 there will be public meetings with the School Board to discuss our application; this will be a time for them to ask us questions about specifics in the application, and for the public to express WHY they think a Montessori School is a good addition to PSD.
