Mr. Rinehart has over ten years of consulting and private equity experience, and helps organizations with strategy and performance improvement. He received his Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, and his Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Rosa Cruz Kauffman MSN, PMHNP- BC is a parent of two Montessori children and a former Montessori student herself. She has served on the School Accountability Committee (SAC) and Cultural Committee. She is bilingual, an adjunct professor at Anschutz Medical Campus and has volunteered with MedShare, AIDS Help and Meals On Wheels. Rosa has a BS/MS in Nursing and is a pediatric and adult psychiatric provider at Monarch Wellness.
Jim is a community member and grandfather of an FCMS student with more to follow. He currently provides consulting services to the Department of Education. He has served on professional boards and chaired United Way campaigns for large organizations. His previous experience includes teaching, coaching and consulting, He holds a BS in Engineering Mgt. an MBA and Doctoral studies in Mathematical Statistics and Operations Research.
Katie Slota is a parent of one Montessori child. She attended a Montessori program as a kindergartener. She is the co-owner/operator of Native Hill Farms. She has previously served on the Fort Collins Food Co-op for 5 years and is a founding member of Poudre Valley Community Farms. She brings experience in community engagement and fundraising. Katie has a BS in Microbiology and a MS in Environmental Health.
Ms. Spearman is a retired educator who has worked nationally, as well as internationally. She began her career in 1972 as a first grade teacher in Indianapolis, Indiana. During her many years as a teacher, she taught in: Indianapolis; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Fairfax County, Virginia and Denver, Colorado. In 1996, she became the principal of University Park Elementary School in Denver, Colorado where she helped the school transition from being a school involved in Denver Public School’s (“DPS”) busing for integration into a successful neighborhood school. In 1999, DPS’s Columbine Elementary was one of the lowest performing schools in the state and the Superintendent assigned Janice to design and implement a plan to turn the school “around.” During the 5 years that she was principal, the school made significant growth and she was recognized by the Governor for this accomplishment. In 2004, Ms. Spearman was named as an Instructional Superintendent where she supervised and supported schools in a variety of regions. In 2010, she became the principal of DPS’s Lincoln Elementary and Montessori School where she had the privilege of helping to grow the Montessori program into a strong successful program with a waiting list of applicants. Ms. Spearman officially retired in June 2019, however DPS contracted her as a mentor Principal to support the Assistant Principal who assumed the Principal position in May 2020.
