Hello! My name is Izze and I began working at Fort Collins Montessori in September, 2022. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2021 with a BA in Environmental Policy and a minor in Spanish Communication. I plan to eventually continue my education by pursuing a law degree, but for now I am enjoying the opportunity to work with and get to know the amazing people at Fort Collins Montessori! I have always loved working with children, and when the pandemic began I started tutoring dozens of kids who were struggling with the sudden transition to online learning. I still tutor for several families, and I am grateful to be able to gain experience in the Montessori style as well. Outside of work I love spending time with my fiancé and our Golden Retriever, Mowgli. I also love running, hiking, doing crossword puzzles, and going on long evening walks to enjoy the beautiful Colorado sunsets.
