Originally from New Mexico, Kate obtained their bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Conservation and Ecology in 2019, then worked as a junior project coordinator from 2020 - 2022. Kate began working with children in early 2022 as a kids' yoga instructor. The joy of that work inspired them to pursue a certification as an early childhood teacher. They earned this certification in August of 2025 and intends to further their education in child development and early childhood education in the near future.

Outside of FCMS, Kate enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with their many pets and loved ones.
